WE DO EVALULATIONS: A smart shopper has an evaluation completed before the purchase. Task Marine LLC will go out to the boat and/or motor you are considering. We will provide you with information to help you decide to make that purchase or not. What boat makes/models/years to maybe stay away from.
Please even if you don't get your boat evaluated Never purchase a boat with out a test ride - just running a motor on land is not the same as it is running with a load (pulling the weight of a boat). Too many times people purchase a boat and then find the issue(s).

Worth waking up early for... At 5:30 am on Sunday, 6/12 Bruce V. "Vivo" went out on his neighbor's 29 ft Seaswirl Striper and caught this 44-½ lb, 48-½ inch striper off of the Bathing Beach, Seaside Heights -NJ.

Great trip on the Searcher II. 70' Searcher II out of Barnegat Light - Open Boat Black Fishing. Mark with this 20 inch 8 pound Black Fish won the pool. Matt had some decent fish helping to limit out.

Perfect calm weather and flat seas. Left my dock just past lunch hour and headed to the reef. Being it was a weekday and early afternoon, I had lots of room to myself. First fish was a juvenile flounder. 2nd fish was borderline at 17.5", back he went. 3rd fish was a small sea robin. While rigging a 3rd rod, I heard the ratchet on my Penn 320gti. I lifted the rod and figured I was hung up on some real estate. Just a solid pull with no tugs. As I started reeling there was a couple of nice pulls. I knew it wasn't bottom.
A Boating Course - COMMON SENSE & COURTESY!
Someone once said that life is not a dress rehearsal and you're not getting any younger. No matter what your age, there is nothing like being out on the water in a boat, no matter how small or old. Armed with a boating course, common sense and courtesy. The best advice- venture out on the water with your new boat little at a time. There is no need to cross the Atlantic the first time you go out. Take it a step at a time, going farther and gaining experience each time you go boating. New Jersey now requires you to have at minimum of a safe boating certificate which shows you have passed an approved boating course. This is a good thing that has developed over the last 15 years or so across America.
